1. Your Reflection Data Stays on Your Device

Make Them Count (“we,” “our,” or “us”) is built with a privacy-first architecture. When you enter your birthdate, track streaks, log intentional days, or set a focus intention, all of this data is saved entirely within your browser's local storage. We have no backend database, and your personal reflection data never leaves your device.

If you use our social sharing feature, the shareable image is generated directly on your device and is never uploaded to our servers.

2. Cookies, Analytics & Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services. Analytics tools are loaded only after you consent via our cookie banner.

• Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC) — anonymous usage analytics. Collects pages visited, session duration, and city-level location to help us understand how people find and use the site. No personal reflection data is sent. Privacy policy

• Google Fonts (Google LLC) — the Geist and Newsreader typefaces are downloaded at build time and served from our own domain. No requests are made to Google's servers when you visit the site.

3. Contact Form

If you use our contact form, the message is processed client-side only and is not stored or transmitted to any external service. We do not collect your name or email via the contact form.

4. Your California Privacy Rights (CCPA / CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to opt out of the sharing of your personal information with third-party analytics providers (Google Analytics). To exercise this right, visit our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page. Because we do not collect personal identifying information beyond anonymous analytics, there is no account data to access, correct, or delete.
